Ramin Djawadi
Ramin Djawadi is an Iranian-German score composer, born in Duisburg, West Germany on July 19, 1974. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1998 he was recruited by Hans Zimmer to work at Remote Control Productions. He moved to Los Angeles, California and was Klaus Badelt’s assistant. Djawadi has composed music for the films Clash of the Titans, Pacific Rim, Slender Man, A Wrinkle in Time, Open Season, Blade: Trinity, Batman Begins, The Island, Iron Man and others. He has composed music for the television shows Jack Ryan, Westworld, The Strain, Breakout Kings, Flash Forward, Prison Break, Game of Thrones, Person of Interest and more. He has also composed music for the video games Thief II, Medal of Honor, Game of Thrones, Gears of War 4, Gears 5, System Shock 2, Shift 2: Unleashed, and Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won an Emmy Award, eight ASCAP Awards, and an International Film Music Critics Association Award.
