Rauw Alejandro

Rauw Alejandro is the stage name of the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1993. As a kid he lived in the United States for several years and would perform in school talent competitions. While in the United States he listened to R&B and dancehall music. In 2014 he started releasing music on Soundcloud. He released his debut album titled Punto de equilibrio in 2016. In 2017 he was signed with the independent label Duars and that same year he was selected by the label Sony Music Latin to be part of the musical production “The Next Ones.” In 2019 he released the single “Que le de”, which was a collaboration with Nicky Jam. He has also collaborated with the artists, Kevin Roldan, Khea, Ozuna, Lunay, Lyanno, and others.
