Remy Ma, real name Reminisce Mackie, is a Bronx-born rapper and recurring cast member of Love And Hip Hop. She was discovered by legendary Bronx rapper Big Pun, and was featured prominently on his posthumous album, Yeeeah Baby. She was then signed to Fat Joe’s imprint, on which she released her debut album, There’s Something About Remy. The album featured the single “Conceited,” which landed a spot in the documentary Black Lifestyle In Japan. She has since become one of the biggest hip hop artists in Japan. Her debut album sold over 150,000 in its first year. She released a collaborative album in Fat Joe in 2016, which was promoted by the single “All The Way Up” which peaked at #27 on the Billboard Hot 100.
