Rev Theory
Rev Theory was formed in Andover, Massachusetts. Members of the band include Dave Agoglia, Rich Luzzi, Julien Jorgensen, and Matt McCloskey. Paul Phillips also joined the band while touring. The band was originally formed as Revelation Theory in 1997. After they moved to New York and played in clubs to gain popularity, they were signed by EMI records in 2005. They released The Truth Is Currency, their debut album in the same year. Their single Slowburn also became a success, and they played with Papa Roach, Evanescence, and Fall Out Boy on tours. Light It Up, the group’s sophomore album was released in 2008 WrestleMania used the title track as their official theme song while WWE chose the song “Hell Yeah” as its theme for One Night Stand. In 2011, Rev Theory released Justice, their third album, under Interscope. In 2016, the band released another album The Revelation.
