Robbie Coltrane
Robbie Coltrane was born on March 30, 1950. He started his career working on comedy shows for the BBC such as A Kick Up the Eighties, Comic Strip Presents and Alfresco. He earned supporting roles throughout the 1980s in the films Flash Gordon, Death Watch, Scrubber and Mona Lisa, among others. On television, he worked on Blackadder and Henry V. His work in the TV series Cracker (1993 to 1996) earned him three BAFTA awards and famously starred as Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter films (2001 to 2011). He also has narrated and presented documentary programs for ITV, which mostly cover methods of transportation and travel. He starred in the TV film National Treasure in 2016, which earned him a British Academy Television Award for Best Actor.
