Robert Covington

Robert Covington was born December 14, 1990 in Bellwood, Illinois. He plays the small forward position for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended high school at Proviso West in Hillside, Illinois and played 4 years of college basketball for Tennessee State from 2009 to 2013. After college, he was undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft.

Robert playing career started with the Houston Rockets from 2013 to 2014 and he then joined the Philadelphia 76ers in 2014. Covington won the NBA D-League Rookie of the Year (2014), All-NBA D-League First Team (2014), NBA D-League All-Rookie First Team (2014), NBA D-League All-Star Game MVP (2014), First-team All-OVC (2012), Second-team All-OVC twice (2011, 2013) and OVC All-Newcomer Team (2010).
