Robert Herjavec
Robert Herjavec was born on December 14th, 1962 in Varazdin, Croatia. Robert spent most of his youth working and living on a farm before moving to Canada. Robert studied at the University Of Toronto where he graduated with a degree in Political Science and English in 1984. His journey towards television stardom began with assistant director roles on films such as Cain and Abel and The Return Of Billy Jack. He even worked as a field producer in the Winter Olympics in Bosnia. His first crack at a business was in 1990 when he created BRAK Systems. He sold the company in for more than $30 million in 2000. Later in 2003, he formed the Herjavec Group, a tech company.
He went to appear as a judge on Canada’s Dragon’s Den and USA’s Shark Tank. Robert has authored a few books such as Driven: How to Succeed in Business And Life (2010). Robert’s works have earned him awards such as the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Award of the Year award in 2012.
