Roger Waters
Born on September 6, 1943, George Roger Waters came from Great Bookham, Surrey, England. He is the co-founder of the band Pink Floyd. As a singer and song writer, he is considered the man behind albums like “Dark Side of the Moon,” “The Wall,” and “Wish You Were Here.” He left the band in 1985, pursuing a solo career. He started his music at the age of 20 with the influence of future bandmates Syd Barrett and David Gilmour.
Fast-forward, Waters and his friends formed the Pink Floyd band, dropping “Sound” in 1966. However, Barrett suffered mental illness which made him replaced by David Gilmour as band’s leader. But when it comes to song writing, Roger Waters has the largest number of works, even collaborating with other acts.
