Safaree Samuels
An American rapper, songwriter and television personality, he hails from Brooklyn, New York. Of Jamaican descent, his music career began with the group Hoodstars, which included Nicki Minaj, Seven Up and Lou$tar and was formed in the early 2000’s. After the group disbanded, Samuels supported Nicki Minaj as her hype man.
After writing several songs for Minaj he released a solo mixtape and joined the reality television show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in the shows third season as well as Love & Hip Hop: New York, currently on air. He also competed in the reality show Scared Famous in 2017 and Leave it to Stevie as a supporting member. Most recently, in 2018, Samuels was given with a Blue & Bougie Impact Award.
