Saoirse Ronan
Saoirse Ronan, born Saoirse Una Ronan was born on the 12th of April 1994 in New York and is an Irish American actress. Starting an acting career as a child actress in 2007 and her first performance of note was in Atonement where she portrayed Briony alongside Keira Knightley and James McAvoy. For her role in the film, she was nominated for an Academy Award.
Going on to be in films such as The Lovely Bones, Hanna, The Host, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Lost River, she was nominated for yet another Academy Award for her work in the film Brooklyn and more recently earned a third Oscar nod for her work in Greta Gerwig’s coming of age film, Lady Bird where she appeared alongside Lucas Hedges and Tracy Letts.
