Saosin

Saosin is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California in 2003. The current members of the band are Anthony Green on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and piano, Beau Burchell on lead guitar, Chris Sorenson on bass guitar and keyboards, and Alex Rodriguez on drums and percussion. Their sound has been described as emo, post-hardcore, and alternative rock. In 2003 they released their debut EP titled Translating the Name. The EP reached number 36 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and number 27 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. The group was signed to the label Capitol Records and released their second EP self-titled Saosin in 2005. In 2006 they released their debut studio album also self-titled Saosin. The album reached number 22 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, number 7 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart, 16 on the US Digital Albums chart and also charted in Japan. They have since released the albums In Search of Solid Ground and Along the Shadow. In 2008 they released their third EP titled The Grey.
