Shawn Mullins
Born in March 8, 1968, Shawn Mullins came from Atlanta, Georgia. He was serving in the US Army Airborne Infantry Division as he released his self-titled cassette under his own label back in 1989. Then in 1991, he released “Everchanging World” after which he left the military service to pursue music.
By 1998, Mullins was signed under Columbia Records for his album “Soul’s Core.” His song “Lullaby” was able to become a charts sensation, eventually granting the album a Platinum record. The song was Grammy-nominated. In 1999, the album “The First Ten Years” was released. Then a follow up to “Soul’s Core” entitled “Beneath the Velvet Sun” was released. Lately, in 2015, he launched “My Stupid Heart” in under Sugar Hill label.
