Sherwin Gardner
Sherwin Gardner is a gospel reggae singer from Arima, Trinidad. He fuses gospel music with dancehall and patois. He began performing at a young age around the Caribbean. He recorded his first album at the age of 17 in 1998 and released it under the title of Power in the Name. In 1999 he released the album called 100% Sold Out. In 2000 he followed up with album Revelation Unfold.
Sherwin found international success with his fourth album, Leaning. The album was a critical success worldwide and lead to him founding his own label called Flow Masters. In 2003 he released the album Closer. The single “He Died for Me” became a number 1 hit in the Caribbean. In 2004 he released the album Who I Am. He then spent some time producing for artists such as Jonathan Nelson, Carlene Davis, Chevelle Franklyn, and the Pierre Sisters.
In 2007 Sherwin released his next album called Elevation. He followed that up with the release of the album Borderless in 2010 and the album Relentless in 2011. After a two year hiatus he released the albums Nascent in 2013 and Veinticinco in 2014. The year after he released his album called Fixer. In 2017 he returned from a small break with his album called Greater.
