Sonny Digital, Sonny Corey Uwaezuoke, is a producer responsible for many of the defining singles of the “New Atlanta” sound. Raised in Atlanta he got his start as a teenager with YC and Future’s “Racks,” which went Gold and earned listeners in Atlanta and nationwide. Future, who would quickly emerge as perhaps the most successful to come out of Atlanta’s renaissance, enlisted Sonny Digital in 2012 to produce “Same Damn Time,” a major single from his studio debut, Pluto. The track would land on many year-end lists as one of the best songs of the year. Sonny Digital continued his streak of scene-defining singles with iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday,” a track that would gain national attention after a remix by Drake. He continues to produce regularly for notable Atlanta artists, including Young Thug and Future.
