Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is an American professional basketball player born in Akron, Ohio on March 14, 1988. He is currently a point guard for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. Curry is considered to be the greatest shooter in NBA history and is known for his three-point shots. He is a six time NBA All-Star and has won three NBA championships with the Warriors. He has been named NBA Most Valuable Player twice, in 2015 and 2016. Curry played basketball in high school at Charlotte Christian School in Charlottesville, North Carolina. He went on to play college basketball at Davidson College for the Wildcats from 2006 to 2009. In 2009 he was selected by the Golden State Warriors in the first round, 7th overall, in the 2009 NBA Draft and is still with the Warriors. Curry holds a number of NBA records, including regular season record for made three-pointers, the record for most three-pointers made in a single playoffs, finals record for most three-pointers made in a game and more. He also plays on the United States national team and helped the team win a silver medal in the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, a gold medal at the 2010 FIBA World Championship, and a gold medal at the 2014 World Cup.
