Swanky Tunes

Formed in Moscow, Russia, in 1988, the DJ trio Swanky Tunes is comprised of Dmitry Burykin, Stanislav Zaytsev, and Vadim Shpak. Bringing together their unique sounds, the group is known for the combination of electronic and techno sounds. It was not really until 2006 that the group gained much of the recognition that they enjoyed during the latter half of the 2000s. Swanky Tunes was recognized at the Russian Dance Music Awards as the Best Musical Group in 2006 and in 2007, and their native country ranks them as #14 out of the Top 100 DJs in Russia.

Swanky Tunes released their debut full-length album in 2006, entitled Streamline, along with a variety of EPs, singles, and miscellaneous mixes. These releases catapulted them to international fame, and they count big name DJs such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, and Laidback Luke as just a few of their fans. In 2011, their track “Sending My Love” became one of the most commonly played songs in clubs, and just one year later, they began their own label Showland, under which they have been known to release one new hit per month.
