T.J. Dillashaw was born Tyler Jeffrey Dillashaw in Sonora, California, United States on February 7, 1986. He was ranked as the No. 1 MMA Fighter of the year in 2014. His ranking for the same category dropped to No. 13 in 2015 and he was at No. 7 for 2017 and No. 19 in 2018. As of February 11, 2019, he is the No. 62 spot as the Current Best MMA Flyweight Fighter and at No. 8 Current Best Pound For Pound MMA Fighter. His head coach is Duane Ludwig and he fights out of Sacramento, California. His last game was on UFC on ESPN+1 where he lost to Henry Cejudo. Dillashaw signed with the UFC on 2011 and he debuted in a fight in Las Vegas where he faced John Dodson and lost by TKO.
