The Big Pink

Coming from London, England, The Big Pink is a rock band consisting of four members namely, Robbie Furze, Free Hallas, Mary Charteris, and Jesse Russell. Originally found as a duo by Robbie Furze and Milo Cordell, the Big Pink started to mixing sounds of My Bloody Valentine and Spacemen 3 in their home studio.

Soon, the duo performed on popular shows, which later resulted to being held as “London’s coolest new stars,” releasing a single through House Anxiety label. Soon after, they signed under 4AD, which released other singles like “A Brief History of Love” in 2009. Then they issued a mix CD called “Tapes” under the K7! label. In March 2016, the new line-up for The Big Pink emerged, releasing a new EP entitled “Empire Underground.”
