The Cadillac Three
Coming from the Music City, Nashville, Tennessee, The Cadillac Three was once known by the name The Cadillac Black. Their music genre revolves in southern rock. They came from American Bang, a rock group formed back in 2005. Under American Bang, they released an album entitled “I Shot the King.” In 2007, they released the EP “Move to the Music.” Then soon after, the remaining members Neil Mason, Jaren Johnston, and Kelby Ray formed The Cadillac Black after American Bang’s lead Ben Brown left.
However, they changed their name to The Cadillac Three after learning they have been using a name already used by other bands. They were signed under Big Machine Records, releasing a self-titled album in 2013. They also wrote songs for other acts like Keith Urban’s “You’re Gonna Fly,” Tim McGraw’s “Southern Girl,” and “Days of Old” for Jake Owen. The Cadillac Three’s single “The South” was then released. Their third album “Bury Me in My Boots” was released in 2016.
