Hailing from Los Angeles, California, is the trio The Glitch Mob, made up of Edward Ma, Justin Boreta, and Josh Mayer. The band started out as a quintet that formed in 2006, yet two members – Matthew Kratz and Kitty Ology – left in the late 2000s. While performing live, The Glitch Mob made a name for themselves for having their shows be completely operated by laptops and MIDI controllers. In 2010, they released their debut album entitled Drink the Sea, which went to the #57 slot on the Top 200 Chart for College Radio. They followed the initial success with an EP titled We Can Make the World Stop in 2011, and later their sophomore album, titled Love Death Immortality, which went to #1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
