The Hunts

As an indie folk band, The Hunts is consisted of seven family members. Twin sisters Jenni and Jessi, with brothers Josh, Justin, Jonathan, Jordan, and Jamison came from Chesapeake, Virginia. The siblings first learned to play violin thanks to their mother, Sandy. Soon after, each of the Hunt children was able to play their own instrument.

With the music influence of their parents, who both performs locally in the neighbourhood, the children grew up in a musically inclined family. By late 2000s, the siblings formed The Hunts, an indie folk band which incorporates different musical instruments such as the guitar, fiddle, ukulele, banjo, and others. They were able to sign with the label Cherrytree Records/Interscape. “Those Younger Days” is the title of their full-length debut.
