Third Coast Percussion

Third Coast Percussion is a Grammy-winning ensemble group originally formed out of Civic Orchestra of Chicago by students of Northwestern University. The line-up is Sean Connors, Robert Dillon, Peter Martin, and David Skidmore. They hold a residency at the University of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, a base from which they tour at events all around the world.

They have collaborated with such artists and groups as the Garth Newel Piano Quartet, the International Contemporary Ensemble, Hubbard Street Dance, Amy Briggs, Lisa Moore, Nicholas Photinos, and Tim Munro. Their self-titled album won the 2017 Grammy for “Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance,” the first time a percussion group had won this category.
