Tim Story
Timothy Kevin Story was born on March 13, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from University of Southern California film school in 1991, he went on to create a production company with his wife called The Story Company. He made his directorial debut in 1997 on the film One of Us Tripped. He continued garnering success by working on such films as Barbershop (2002), Taxi (2004), Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer (2007), and Ride Along (2014). He has received a total of 6 nominations for his work from the Black Movie Awards, the Black Reel Awards, and the Image Awards. He is not only a director, but he is also a producer, writer, and editor. The only film out of his jobs that he has worked as a producer on is 2008’s First Sunday; however, he plans to do more. In the upcoming year, he is set to work on projects such as Son of Shaft, Humbug, and White Famous.
