Tom Holland
Tom Holland was born on June 1st, 1996 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, and is the son of comedian and author Dominic Holland. He attended the Brit School for Performing Arts and Technology in London. His talents for performance were identified early on, leading to his theatre debut as Michael in Billy Elliot the Musical, premiering on September 8th, 2008 in the West End. This led to future appearances on British television including The Feel Good Factor (2009) and BBC’s Wolf Hall, and film appearances in Arrietty (2011), The Impossible (2012) alongside Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts, How I Live Now (2013), and In the Heart of the Sea (2015).
His breakout film role occurred with his casting and portrayal of Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). This brought Holland exposure to American audiences, and future appearances with Marvel Studios as Spider-Man are expected over coming years.
