Trisha Yearwood
Born in September 19, 1964, Trisha Yearwood is from Monticello, Georgia. At a young age, she excelled in school and was able to hone her skills when it comes to country music. Her musical influences were Hank Williams and Patsy Cline. Yearwood later interned for MTM Records, and was then hired as an employee.
She then married musician Chris Latham. Soon after, she recorded demo tapes and became a backup singer for some artists. As time went by, she was able to sign a deal with MCA Records. Her debut album sold for more than two million copies, the first ever to happen for a female country artist. She was then named as the Top New Female Vocalist in year 1991 by Academy of Country Music.
