Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel was born on July 18, 1967 in Alamed County, California. He started his career in a small uncredited role in the film Awakenings in 1990. He later wrote, directed, produced and starred in the 1994 movie Multi-Facial, which was selected for screening at Cannes. He was cast in Saving Private Ryan in 1998 and voiced the title character in The Iron Giant. His role in Boiler Room in 2000 and his role as the antihero Riddick in Pitch Black launched his career. He became an action hero with his work on the series The Fast and the Furious in 2001, appearing in several sequels to each movie. He changed gears and played in the comedy The Pacifier. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013 and began voicing the character Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel. He also starred in The Last Witch Hunter in 2015.
