Wesley Snipes
Wesley Snipes was born on July 31, 1962 in Orlando, Florida. He was discovered at the age of 23 and made his film debut in 1986’s Wildcats. He had a guest role in Miami Vice and was a background actor in the music video Bad. He was cast in Major League, which led to his roles in Mo’ Better Blues and Jungle Fever. He later played in New Jack City and Sugar Hill. Snipes has had a series of action roles in films like Passenger 57, Demolition Man, The Fan, Rising Sun and others. He won the Best Actor Volpi Cup at the Venice Film Festival for his role on One Night Stand in 1997. He starred in Blade in 1998, which was his largest commercial success. The film kicked off a series and earned Snipes a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and other accolades. Snipes appeared in The Contractor in 2012 and also appeared in The Expendables 3.
