Wiley was born Richard Kylea Cowie Jr. on January 19, 1979, on Bow, East London. He became a member of Pay As U Go in 2001, and they released the track “Champagne Dance” in 2001. The track became a top 40 hit during its release. He also founded the Roll Deep Crew.
His albums include Traddin’ on Thin Ice (2004), Playtime is Over (2007), and See Clear Now (2008). One of the singles from his third album, “Wearing My Rolex” made it to No.2 of the UK charts.
He featured on “Never Be Your Woman” by the Naughty Boy. He also worked on Chill Out Zone, 100% Publishing, Evolve or Be Extinct, and The Ascent which produced the chart-topping hit “Heatwave.” He released Godfather in 2017, and the follow-up Godfather II the next year. He also dropped the single “Slide to My in 2018.”
