Zach Galifianakis
Zach Galifianakis was born on October 1, 1969 in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. He guest-starred on Boston Common and Out Cold and had small roles in Corky Romano, Below, Bubble Boy, Heartbreakers, and others. He hosted a talk show in 2002 called Late World with Zach. He later had a guest role in Tru Calling. He had several recurring bit parts on The Sarah Silverman Program, Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great job! After releasing several comedy web series, he landed an online series with Funny or Die called Between Two Ferns, where he interviews celebrities between two potted plants. This show earned him a Primetime Emmy Award.
Galifianakis’ big break came when he starred in The Hangover, which shot him to popular stardom and led to his hosting Saturday Night Live and starring in a new series called Bored to Death. He received acclaim for his performance in Birdman and voiced The Joker in The Lego Batman Movie.
