Zaza Pachulia
Zaza Pachulia was born on February 10, 1984 in Georgia. At 6’8” tall, he began his career at the age of 13. He was recruited to become part of the Georgian Junior National basketball team and participated in various tournaments, where recruiters from the National Basketball Association (NBA) quickly noticed him. In 2003, he was drafted by the NBA and signed to the Milwaukee Bucks where he played in the 2004-2005 season. His success led him to sign a contract with Atlanta Hawks in 2005. He became the Hawk’s center and averaged 11.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He signed a new contract in 2016 with the Golden State Warriors who would go on to win the NBA championship 4-1 in the finals against the Cavaliers in 2017.
